On April 13, 2013, BNUZ Sports Meeting was successfully held at BNUZ ground track field. This sports meeting witnessed 2016 players from 15 schools and 22 departments participated in the competitions. They competed with each other in 80 projects which have 5 categories in total. 1040 students attended the performance for the opening ceremony. School of Leisure and Sports, which is just new established last year, has organized players and judges to participate in the sports meeting. In the end, the team championship went to International Business Faculty, School of Management got team runner-up while School of Leisure and Sports tied with School of Logistics for the second runner-up. This year, players broke previous record in 3 projects.

At 8:00 am, opening ceremony for the sports meeting started with Prof. TANG Wei, BNUZ party secretary, Prof. YAN Bofei, vice president of BNUZ, Prof. FU Ailan, vice president of BNUZ, Prof. DAI Wei, BNUZ deputy party secretary as well as head of the Schools and faculties attended it. Mr. TANG Wei delivered an opening speech and on behalf of the university leadership, he extended thanks for faculty and students who prepared hard for the sports meeting and wish a great success of it. Prof. YAN Bofei vice president of BNUZ, declared the formal opening of the sports meeting. Student TAN Junjie, teacher LIU Bing, FENG Liping delivered speech on behalf of student players, teacher players and judges respectively.

Bearing in mind the spirit of Higher, Faster, Stronger, student players and teacher players played hard for the game. Outside the competitions, volunteers devoted themselves to assist the smooth running of this sports meeting. At 6:00 pm, the sports meeting welcomed its successfully close.
