In the evening of April 12, 2013, hosted by BNUZ Communist Youth League Committee, co-sponsored by Beishan Lihe Cultural Industry Investment Co., Ltd, a music speech of the 3 rd Beishan World Music Festival was successfully held at the Lecture Hall of International Center. The speaker for this music speech is Mr. XUE Wen, the founder of Beishan World Music Festival. Haree, Asian king of drum who comes from Nepal, was well as other artists were invited for live show.

Mr. XUE Wen shared his music and dream with students and felt the charm of music with students. During his speech, Mr. XUE shared the reason why he founded the music festival and why the host place was set in the Beishan Theater(a deserted theater with a long history, has currently been renovated). Beishan World Music Festival came out by Mr. XUE and his french friend JJ. They both love music and the cultural atmosphere of Zhuhai. After several years of preparation, they founded the Beishan World Musci Festival, which is a local Musci brand for Zhuhai.By setting the music festival in Beishan Theater, they want to introduce the creation and art into Beishan while at the same time protect the historic building and find a balance between cultural protection and cultural recreation.

Haree, Asian king of drum jointed hands with a French famous DJ brought a wonderful live mucic show for the BNUZ students. The music features Nepal characteristics and also combines with the popular elements of modern jazz, which allows students to feel the exotic beauty of music. Over 300 students and faculty has spent an unforgettably night the day.

BNUZ Communist Youth League Committee is a strategic partner of Beishan World Music Festival Organizational committee. In the future, BNUZ would invite more musicians to the compus and actively send volunteers out to get a closer touch with the world music.
