Vice President of University of Windsor Visited BNUZ

In the morning of June 17th, vice president Dr. Michael Siu and the director Dr. Xu Shijing of International Cooperation Department in School of Education from the University of Windsor visited BNUZ. Prof. Zhu Meilin the director of BNUZ Department of Administration, Prof. An Baosheng dean of the School of Engineering Technology, Associate Prof. Wang Yue deputy dean of the School of Art and communication, teacher Hou Fei assistant to the dean of School of Management, teacher Zhang Yiping assistant to the dean of the School of Design, and Dr. Gan Chunyan the director of Office of International Affairs, together with Dr. Kang Changyun received the guests in BNUZ International Center.

Prof. Zhu Meilin firstly welcomed the delegation of Dr. Michael Siu on behalf of the university, and briefly introduced the situation of our campus. Dr. Michael Siu also gave a overall introduction of the University of Windsor. Then heated discussions were carried out around joint training of postgraduate students on quality assessment, cooperation on majors of visual communication and arts, and project of master level education in management. Both sides showed great hopes in cooperation in the near future.

During the visit, the guests also joined in a campus tour, and expressed their magnification to the beautiful environment.


Introduction to University of Windsor:
The university located in Windsor, Ontario, which is known as the capital of Canadian automotive industry, as well as the location of three largest automobile manufacturers in Canada and hundreds of high-tech companies. The university was founded in 1857 and is a public and comprehensive one in southernmost Canada. Its advanced fields include automotive, engineering, science and arts. As the university is near Detroit in America, it has developed cooperation with colleges and institutions in Detroit. Students can attend courses of nursing, medical science, management and social works in both universities, and enjoy freely query and access to libraries and data.
