Introduction to Cannes Young Lions:

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (former name: Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival) comes from Cannes International Film Festival. In year 1954, film advertising media agents initiated Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, hoping that film advertising can attract audience’s attention just like film. After that, Cannes and Venice held the festival by turns. In 1977, Cannes became the official permanent location for the festival. In 1992, the organizing committee added newspaper, poster, magazine into the contest classifications, which allows Cannes Advertizing Award became a comprehensive global prize in real sense.

Cannes Young Lions aims to encourage young people to join the creation industry in a better way. The contestants must be 28 years old or younger. After they enter the finals, they can receive professional training. Up to now, it has been held for 20 times.
