At the noon of Nov. 23rd, 2013, a delegation of 33 faculty and students from Niigata University led by Prof. AIBA Kazuhiko visited BNUZ. Prof. Tu Qingyun, President of BNUZ and Prof. Wu Zhongkui, Vice President of BNUZ met with the delegation. Both sides believe that more efforts should be carried out on the basis of the existed cooperation and exchanges while to explore more potential cooperative areas and to cultivate more talents for our two countries.
Accompanied by students of BNUZ, Japanese students visited Zhuhai campus and experienced the campus life of Chinese Style. In the afternoon, the faculty and students of BNUZ School of Education had an extensive communication with the Japanese delegates.

Upon the start of cultural exchange activity, Prof. Wang Jiancheng, Dean of School of Education and Prof. AIBA Kazuhiko gave an opening speech respectively. They also reviewed the cooperation between two universities over the past years and expressed their sincere hope that this activity would be a complete success.
Later during the activity, the students of Niigata University gave a presentation to the Chinese faculty and students about traditional Japanese culture and its classical features while our students made a presentation on the themes of “Attic and Wedding Customs” and “Monster Culture”. Moreover, some BNUZ students who were once exchanged to Japan talked about their study in Japan as well. And the four Japanese exchange students who are currently studying in BNUZ also presented their daily life and study here and expressed their appreciation for BNUZ and its faculty and students. They also hoped that they could serve as the bridge for cultural communication and exchanges between two universities, which push that day to a new high.
Such cultural exchange activity has deepened the mutual understanding between our universities on their educational system and cultural traditions.
