From February 11th to 15th, BNUZ president Prof. Tu Qingyun and the delegation visited famous Japanese including Waseda University and Niigata University. The vice preside Prof. Wu Zhongkui and the dean of School of Education Prof. Wang Jiancheng accompanied the visiting.
In Waseda University, Prof. Tu Qingyun and the delegation received warm welcome from Prof. Tetsuya Yaguchi who is the Dean of Faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Sciences and also the Dean of Graduate School, together with Prof. Ryoji Shunsuke who is the Academic Director. Both sides shared experience in program design and major development, and discussed issues of university admission, teaching, and management. Agreement of cooperation was made in terms of graduate study.
In meeting with the new President of Niigata University Sugata Takahashi and the Vice President and Executive Director Oura Yoko, both parties reviewed the progress of cooperation in exchanging students, teacher communication, and collaborative research after signing the cooperative agreement in 2008. Further consensus was also researched in developing the cooperative level, broadening collaborative majors, and exchanging graduate students. In addition, President Tu also saw BNUZ exchange students, graduate and PhD students in Niigata University. He hoped BNUZ students could cherish the opportunities, and welcomed them back to work in our university after graduation.
