Invited by BNUZ School of Government and Law, Prof. Joel Wm. Friedman, Director of International program from Tulane University, US came for a visit from April 29^th to 30^th.

During his visit, Prof. Joel Wm. Friedman gave a briefing lecture on the 3+1 LLM cooperation program between BNUZ School of Government and Law and Tulane University. He introduced the program and answered questions like tuition fees, course design, degree awarding, and application procedures that students were concerned with.

In another lecture titled The battle between the US Congress and the US Court about protection of workers from discrimination, Prof. Joel Wm. Friedman explained the actions that the US Congress had taken against the US Court in protecting workers from discrimination. After the lecture, students expressed their ideas about the US judicial system and made a comparison of Chinese and American legal system.

In addition, possibilities of further detailed cooperation was discussed during his visit. The application of 3+1 LLM cooperation program between BNUZ School of Government and Law and Tulane University has already opened in April.
