On April 30th, the 2014 National Ceremony of Loving Package Program by China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation was held at the CPPCC auditorium in Beijing and was live on air in 31 provinces. The ceremony awarded high recognition to excellent group and individual with outstanding performances in 2013. With the extraordinary performance of BNUZ New Great Wall Self-improvement Association (NGWSIA) in 2013 Annual Hundred Good Deeds Program, Mr. Chen Xiaohua, instructor of NGWSIA, was invited to attend the opening ceremony.

In 2013 Annual Hundred Good Deeds Program, BNUZ had motivated 1128 person in total with a total amount of donation of 19,2808 RMB. NGWSIA was thus honored as the top 7^th association of public services among all the higher institutions participated in the program. BNUZ and NGWSIA was also honored as the 2013 Good Deeds Program Top 100 Wonderful Organizers”, “2013 New Great Wall Higher Institution Self-improvement Association”, “2013 Hundred Good Deeds Loving Community”, etc. And Mr. Chen Xiaohua was honored as the “Excellent Instructor of 2013 New Great Wall Higher Institution Self-improvement Association” and “Excellent Instructor of 2013 Hundred Good Deeds Program”; and Mr. Cai Guanfeng, association president of BNUZ NGWSIA, was honored as the “Excellent Association President of New Great Wall Higher Institution Self-improvement Association”, and Ms. Cai Xiaoling, head of Planning Department of BNUZ NGWSIA was honored as the “Excellent Organizer of 2013 Hundred Good Deeds Program”.

Under the great support from the school, BNUZ NGWSIA was approved by China Foundation of Poverty Alleviation as early as in 2012 and is the first in Zhuhai and only one higher institution cooperated with CFPA. Through this platform, students not only realize their hope to help elementary students in poverty, but also enhance their personal ability in all round ways. It is reported that several BNUZ graduates have received offers from CFPA to intern and work.
