Recently, United Nations Human Settlements Programme(UN-HABITAT)announced the winners of the International Competition: Urban Revitalization of Mass Housing. The two participating teams from BNUZ—Team Green Day and Team A.O.T—won the first and third prize of China, Asian-Pacific region.

The two teams are founded by students of Urban and Regional Planning major from School of Real Estate, under the supervision of Ms. Zeng, Minling. The school emphasized a lot on cultivating students’ global vision, while encouraging them to participate in professional competitions at home and abroad.

International Competition: Urban Revitalization of Mass Housing is sponsored by UN-HABITAT, aiming to recall peoples’ concerns on housing and thus lead to urban revitalization of the public housing area. There are altogether 97 teams from 55 universities of 64 cities in 35 countries participated in the completion. Hopefully their projects can bring new ideas to the local and global urban revitalization.
