In the afternoon of April 7th, Dr. Fiona Young from Flinders University, Australia and senior scientist Mr. Paul Monis from SA Water visited BNUZ, giving an academic lecture about medical biotechnology to BNUZ students. Fiona introduced how to use biotechnology to prevent and treat cancer while Paul introduced the wastewater treatment by applying biotechnology. Students showed great interest and had active interaction with Fiona.
After the lecture, Dr. Young had a friendly meeting with Associate Dean (International Engagement and Research) A/Prof Zhaohua Lin and Associate Dean (Academic Affairs) Dr. Chao Chen of the School of Engineering Technology, discussing the future cooperation between Flinders University and BNUZ.
