Associate Dean of Global Programs, RHIT visited BNUZ

On the afternoon of April 5th, 2012, Prof. Luchen Li, associate dean of Global Programs, Rose- Hulman Institute of Technology (RHIT), visited BNUZ. Dr. Pansy Gan, Director of Office of International Affairs received Prof. Li at the International Center. Prof. Wanglu Peng ,dean of School of Information Technology, Prof. Honghai Mi ,dean of School of Applied Mathematics and Prof. Baosheng An, dean of School of Engineering Technology presented in the meeting.

Prof. Pansy Gan first expressed her welcome to Prof. Li and then gave a brief introduction to BNUZ. Prof. Li also introduced RHIT with PPT. Three deans and professors of BNUZ shared with Prof. Li the basic information and major characteristics of School of Information Technology, School of Applied Mathematics, and School of Engineering Technology. Both sides held positive discussion regarding cooperation on science and engineering field. 3+1+1 program and co-develop master program were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, both sides exchanged gifts and took photos.

Introduction to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology:

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is located in Terre Haute of Indiana, US. Founded in 1874, its former name is Rose Polytechnic Institute. As one of the first-class colleges specialized in science and engineer, it follows the big names such as MIT and Caltech and enjoys great reputation in the education circle of science and engineering.
