On the date of May 29, Prof. Robert Sparks, Dean of School of Kinesiology of University of British Columbia (Canada), visited BNUZ. Prof. Guangju Chen, President, Prof. Zhiqiang Zhou, Head of Academic Division, Assoc. Prof. Xuanhui Lin, Deputy Dean of School of Education, Prof. Yong Zhong, Director of Sports & Health Education Centre, Prof. Shunlai Zhao, Deputy of SHEC, Dr. Changyun Kang, Development Division, and Dr. Pansy Gan, Director of Office of International Affairs met with the visitor and held discussions at the International Centre.

During the meeting, both universities delivered brief introductions, discussed about the possibilities of establishing Chinese-foreign cooperative education, and achieved the initial intention of collaboration in 3+1 program. Both parties agreed to continue discussion to further promote the program. Then both universities expressed the intention of various international programs, including student and faculty mobility, summer courses, international service projects, research arrangements, etc.

Also, Prof. Sparks run around BNUZ campus during his stay at Zhuhai, and amazed by the planning and development of the campus.
