The Opening ceremony of International Art Festival in Italy was held on the evening of 28th July in Matelica. BNUZ delegation, combined by School of Arts and Communication, BNUZ troupe and handicrafts team of School of Chinese, together with other delegations from five countries, put on fabulous performance.

Before the opening ceremony, delegations from different countries attended the parade. Citizens warmly welcome the delegation members.

The parade lasted for one hour and at 10 P.M. the opening ceremony began. After the speech by the hosts, delegations gave 15-minute performance individually. BNUZ delegation put on five performances including singing and dancing. The dance was created specifically for this arts festival. And costumes are designed with Chinese characteristics. The dance combined the movements of martial arts and shadowboxing.

Apart from BNUZ delegation, troupes from Russia, Chile, Peru and Kenya took part in this arts festival.
