7 P.M., 19th November, the joint performance by Holland Modern Dance Company and School of Arts and Communication was held in the theater at BNUZ. Prof. Zhongkui Wu, vice president of BNUZ, Prof. Qingshan Gui, dean of School of Arts and Communication, Prof. Yue Wang, vice dean of SAC, Prof. Wei Shen, vice dean of SAC and representatives of different fields attended this evening party.

The outstanding Holland dancers’ Oh Bollocks！was amazing, catching audience’s attention. Wine bottles were waved with the rhythm. Their exaggerate dancing and the strong visual impact drove up the atmosphere. Experienced dacers Xi Ning and Li Sheng’s Fu dedicatedly merges the local street dance and the modern dance, which expresses the dilemma that the character encountered. SAC teachers and students folk dance fully embodies the extensive and profound Chinese traditional culture. Dai people’s dance Shaoduoli, used bamboo and flowers as dancing props; besides, Shanqu, Dangshen•Buyouji, Jasmine and Unveil Your Veil also impressed the audience.

Prof. Qingshan Gui, producer of the Phoenix Mountain Arts Festival, said after the evening party that the dancers dance with soul and dedicate themselves into the dancing, this joint performance shows us the new connotation and new way of dancing. This event is highly approved by all sectors of the community.
