When the March 15th International Consumer Protection Day is approaching, the BNUZ Legal Aid Association, People’s Mediation Association, and all the students participated in the course of Legal Clinics took part in legal counseling activities. The events were held in Nankeng Market, Tangjia Market and in front of the three canteens in the campus.

In the counseling points outside the campus, citizens came for advices in an endless stream. The proposed issues include online shopping, paypal safety, and consumer infringement rescue. With the purpose of establishing social justice through learning professional courses, BNUZ students from the School of Government and Law tried their best to offer advices in a professional, voluntary, timely and comprehensive way. Many tough problems that plagued consumers for a long time were solved. In addition, students also distributed exquisitely made and informative materials of legal popularization, which can improve the legal knowledge of wider citizens and help them protect their legitimate rights and interests.

These activities can improve people’s awareness in protecting their consuming rights, popularize the legal knowledge in society, and finally realize the theme of strengthening the power of consumers. Through this event, BNUZ students effectively tested their learning outcomes, enriched their practical experience, and further promote their development.
