Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics Visited BNUZ

In the afternoon of May 15, 2013, captained by Prof. LIU Fei, Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) delegation visited BNUZ. Prof. FU Ailan, executive vice president, Prof. PENG Wanglu, dean of School of Information Technology, Prof. TAO Wenhao, dean of School of Foreign Languages, Mr. ZHANG Yiping, assistant to dean of School of Design, Dr. GAN Chunyan, director of Office of International Affairs received the guests at the fourth meeting room at International Center.

During the meeting, Prof. FU, on behalf of BNUZ, extended warm welcome to KCGI delegation and introduced about BNUZ’s basic information and representatives presented. Prof. LIU Fei expressed thanks for our warm welcome and gave a brief introduction about KCGI. Then two sides held heated discussion about the proposed master program. Both sides hope that two universities can establish great relationship by specific program in the near future.

The KCGI delegation also visited BNUZ accompanied member of Office of International Affairs, BNUZ. The nice environment and teaching facility left great impression on the delegates.

Introduction to KCGI:
Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI), located in Kyoto, is the first university that can award master of applied information technology in Japan and ranks No.1 in the 2012 Japan master program of applied information technology ranking. Its predecessor, the Kyoto College of computer Science was established in 1963, which is the earliest established higher education in computer and IT education. KCGI is filed with the Ministry of Education in China and its degrees have got recognition. It also carries out exchange and cooperation with several domestic universities.
