In the afternoon of May 10, 2013, XU Ting, vice head of Culture and Education Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR, ZHONG Rui, director of Culture and Education Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR,ZHONG Yi, member of Macao Foundation Executive Committee, YAO Weiying, director of Scholarship Office of Macao Foundation, LIN Cuiqian, vice secretary-general of General Association of Chinese Students—Macau visited BNUZ with the company by LI Jinjun, vice director of HK Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, Department of Education, Guangdong Province.
Prof. FU Ailan, executive vice president of BNUZ, Prof. ZHANG Mingyuan, dean of School of Chinese, Prof. YANG Sheng, secretary-general of BNUZ Education Development Foundation, Dr. GAN Chunyan, director of Office of International Affairs, Dr. QIU Yue, assistant to dean of School of Chinese received the guests at International Center.

Prof. FU ailan, on behalf of BNUZ, extended warm welcome to the delegation and gave brief introduction about BNUZ. Representatives of the delegation also introduced the aims of this visit, which is by relying on BNUZ’s high-level teaching quality and related subject features, they hope some courses could be carried out and attracts teenagers at Macao to participate in the courses. Prof. ZHANG Mingyuan introduced BNUZ’s summer programs for overseas students and HK middle school students and BNUZ’s nice experiences in Putonghua Teaching and Testing, then Prof. ZHANG suggest a summer Putonghua program tailored for Macao middle school students. The program has aroused the delegation’s interests and both sides exchanged ideas about some details.
