In the afternoon of June 12th, Mr. Wieslaw Byczkawski, Deputy Governor of Pomerania Province, Poland led a delegation of 9 to visit our university. Prof. Fu Ailan, Vice President of BNUZ, together with relevant staff from Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, met with the delegation in BNUZ International Center.

Prof. Fu, first of all, on behalf of BNUZ, extended warm welcome to the delegation’s visit and expressed sincere hope that the cooperation and exchanges between higher institutions in both regions could be strengthened by this opportunity. Then, Dr. Gan, Director of BNUZ Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, gave a detailed introduction about BNUZ and its international exchanges in recent years.
Mr. Wieslaw Byczkawski expressed his heart-felt thanks to BNUZ’s warm reception and also briefed about the basic information of Pomerania Province and the higher institutions in that region. He hoped to take this visiting opportunity to establish solid cooperation relationships between higher institutions in both regions.
During the visit, the delegation also toured BNUZ’s campus, where the advanced teaching facilities and elegant natural environment obtained their most praises and applauses.
Pomerania Provinceis, located in the coast of the Baltic Sea, is one of the 16 provinces in Poland. It is among the most beautiful cities in Europe. The port trade and tourism are the economic pillar of the city. Gdansk and Gdynia are two major ports, which boast most convenient transportation conditions. Another highlight about the city is the high educational level of the citizens.
