On June 29th, altogether 16 students from BNUZ arrived in Australia safely for the 3-week summer program. Faculty and students from Monash University welcomed them warmly at the airport.

On the second day, they began their study formally. Though the teaching style of different teachers varies, one thing in common is the discussion and interaction section set up with the teachers’ international experience, which quickly got all students adapted to the MU learning style. Moreover, immersing in pure English environment, students improved their language levels, and their study attitude was highly and positively affirmed by the teachers as well.

Besides, during the program, students lived with the host family, which is a great platform for them to experience the local life in a short time and to experience original Australian culture in a relaxing and natural environment. Therefore, from the summer program, students not only improved their cross-cultural communicational skills but also experienced the local culture and foreign customs from the collisions and integration between Chinese culture and western culture.
