21st December, 2014, Dr. Sonal Minocha, vice president of Bournemouth University, together with Prof. ZHANG Tiantian, director of postgraduate school, and Mr. Alastair Morrison, manager of cooperation and international development, paid a visit to BNUZ. Prof. FU Ailan, and director of Office of International Exchange and Cooperation held a meeting with BU visitors in international center.

Prof. Fu, on behalf of BNUZ, extended the warm welcome to the BU delegation, and gave a brief introduction to BNUZ and general situation of BNUZ international exchange and cooperation, and summed up the past cooperation between the two sides. Dr. Sonal Minocha expressed their appreciation to the BNUZ’s welcome, and also introduced BU development strategy and demands. After the introduction, the two parties discussed about the possible cooperation, such as postgraduate recommendation, faculty exchange and summer program.

BU, a public university, has been strict with its teaching quality. It enjoys the highest employment rate in UK. There are 7 schools in BU, including courses from undergraduate to doctoral degree. BNUZ has signed cooperation contract with BU since 2002, and up till 2014, BNUZ has sent 106 students to study in BU. Besides, the two universities established cooperation in many fields like faculty exchange and further study.
