BNUZ Student was Awarded in 2014 China Universities Industrial Design Competition

In the 2014 China Universities Industrial Design Competition (CUIDC), BNUZ student Lu Shanling from the School of Design won the third prize among 116 participated works in Guangdong area. The awarded office desk design was supervised by teacher Lang Lijuan and recommended to the national competition.

The CUIDC is a creative activity of industrial design, which opened to university students all over the country. With the theme of Innovative, Fusion and Growth, the competition has nine categories, including working, living, studying, communication, transportation, health, entertainment, interaction and services. The evaluation criteria is creative, available, accessible, environmental, aesthetic and refinement. All participated works will be selected through three rounds of evaluation.

More than a thousand of design work participated in this competition. Students from HongKong, Macau and Taiwan were also invited. The CUIDC is guided by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, and jointly hosted by the National Instructive Committee of Industrial Design Education, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, the Economic & Information Commission of Guangdong Province and Shunde Government. The sponsors includes Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Guangdong Industrial Design Association, Guangdong Shunde Industrial Design Institute and Guangdong Industrial Design City.
