On the date of March 29^th, 2012, Prof. Maria Vaz, Provost of Lawrence Technological University, and Dr. Hsiao-Ping Moore, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, visited BNUZ. Prof. Ailan Fu, vice president of BNUZ, Prof. Baosheng An, Dean of School of Engineering, Ms. Mei Li from School of IT and Dr, Pansy Gan, Director of Office of International Affairs met with the visitors at the conference room of International Centre and discussed about how to further promote the international collaborative programs between two universities.

During the meeting, Prof. Fu reviewed the progress that had been achieved about the international cooperation between Lawrence Tech and BNUZ. Then both parties held substantial discussions on the proposed programs, including the International Chinese Studies Program designed by BNUZ for overseas students, the Summer Program offered by Lawrence Tech for BNUZ students, faculty exchange, etc., and reached initial consensus on details of the programs, which had settled key foundations of further program promotion.

Prof. Vaz and Dr. Moore also toured around BNUZ campus, had a deep visit to the laboratories of School of Engineering and School of IT, and further communicated with faculties of the two schools.
