MOU Signed between BNUZ and SDSU

On the morning of 25th September, Prof. Guangju Chen, president of BNUZ, and Prof. Peng, dean of School of Information Technology, held a meeting with Dr. Elliot Hirshman, president of San Diego State University, Dr. Paul Wong, dean of College of Arts and Letters, SDSU, and Lily Cheng, Coordinator of Chinese Project in Beijing. The two parties discussed about Computer science 3+1+1 project and other possible cooperation.

Later on, the two parties signed MOU, and delegation of SDSU presidents will formally visit BNUZ next year.

During this summer, Prof. Peng visited SDSU, and discussions about cooperation between the two universities had been held with related department of SDSU.



Introduction to SDSU:

Founded in 1897, SDSU is the largest university in San Diego, and it also the one with the longest history. Besides, it is the fifth university in California. Among the 23 districts, SDSU is the university that covers the largest area. Famous for business management, public management, education, telecommunication and biology, SDSU is a comprehensive university. Several post-graduate projects are selected as top 50 by American News Weekly .
