In the evening of Nov. 8, 2012, BNUZ Charity Night and Volunteer System Zhuhai Launching Ceremony was held at the play ground of BNUZ. This activity was hosted by BNUZ Liyun Young Volunteers Association and participated by representatives of public charitable organizations and sponsors as well as student clubs and so forth.

Prof. Guangju CHEN, president of BNUZ, pointed out in the opening ceremony that: in recent years, with Liyun Young Volunteers Association and other charity-related societies, BNUZ has delivered abundant great volunteer service and public service resources to the community and got praise from people of different fields. Such practice not only develops students’ sense of responsibility and dedication but contributes to the construction of a harmonious society. Moreover, BNUZ has started to include social service into compulsory courses and gave appropriate credits to support student’s participation in volunteer service. Zhuhai authority introduced the volunteer information management system from Guangzhou and entrusted BNUZ Liyun Young Volunteers Association to prompt it as well as carry out training regarding this, which is an affirmation to BNUZ’s volunteer work.

In the Volunteer System Launching Ceremony, representatives of BNUZ leadership and Zhuhai authority push the starting ball to officially launch the volunteer system at Zhuhai, which also marks a new level of Zhuhai volunteer service.

This Charity Night features great talent shows and dance, singing performance to display the development process of BNUZ volunteer service and student’s vision to the great future. Chunbo Li from BNUZ Youth League committee awarded Public-spirited Charity Award to the sponsor for the Charity Night and thanks for their enthusiasm to support volunteer activities. Finally, the evening came to an end in the song chorus of "great love" by Liyun Young Volunteers Association.
