A Christmas tour of Lingnan Impression Garden (Guangzhou) was organized by Office of International Affairs for overseas staff and students on December 23, 2012.

Lingnan Impression Garden is a worthwhile attraction resembling an old town, with beautiful traditional buildings, a lake with a shadow puppet pavilion and a main street full of attractions, including an open air opera house. There are also art, history, food displays and live shows from opera to puppet theatre. All participants were deeply attracted by all scenes and shows at the garden, and spent a whole day touring around, which did enrich their understanding of the roots of modern Guangzhou and maybe surprised by its rich cultural background.

Currently there are 43 international students studying at BNUZ, rooted from 11 countries around the world, and 40 overseas staffs came from 8 countries teaching at BNUZ.
