Second Entrepreneurship Competition by School of Applied Mathematics

On the evening of 14th March, the Second Entrepreneurship Competition was held in A105, Lize Teaching Building. After two rounds of competition, six teams have entered into the final competition. Judges are Mr. Jiren XU, teacher from School of Applied Mathematics, Mr. Yadong Jiao, teacher from School of Design, Mr. Jun Yang, teacher from Office of Student Affairs, Academic Division, and Mr. Bing Liu, teacher from School of Mathematics. Some heads of Career Clubs in schools were invited to the competition.

In the final competition, all the participants detailed introduced their projects from capital, management and market. Judges commented on each project according to the creativity and availability, and gave advices about the possible problem they will meet when implement the projects. Interactions between participants and judges have brought climax to the competition. After two hours competition, Huaxiangshushe by Qizhao, Zhuomin Han and Xin Li from 2011 Grade, won the first prize. It has been put into practice, and it runs smoothly. Small Statistics Office and Change Net won the second prizes while three other projects won the third prizes.

In the end, Mr. Bing Liu made a conclusion to this competition. He said that this competition provides a practice opportunity for students, helping them know more about entrepreneurship, and the market principle. In the end he hoped that students can practice actively and realize their dreams in the near future.
