Chinese Culture University Delegation Visited BNUZ

On 18th April, Chinese Culture University delegation, Dr. Jack K. Li, Dean of Office of International and Mainland China Affairs, and Mr. Junliang Liu, executive officer representative of Office of International and Mainland China Affairs, visited BNUZ. Prof. Ailan Fu, vice president of BNUZ, together with Prof. Mingyuan Zhang, dean of School of Chinese, Dr. Yue Qie, assistant to dean of School of Chinese, Dr. Huiling Xie, Dr. Pansy Gan, director of Office of International Affairs, welcomed the visitors in International Centre. A meeting was held afterwards.

Prof. Fu welcomed the visit of Prof. Li, and expressed her wish that the two universities can have cooperation based on letter of intent signed last year. The two parties then discussed about projects such as student exchange, faculty exchange and co-teaching. Prof. Fu visited Chinese Culture University as a member of delegation of Zhuhai Education Bureau last December. A memorandum was signed during her visit. This is a return visit from CCU.

A short meeting was also held by Prof. Yafei Xu, dean of School of Design and Mr. Yiping Zhang to discuss professional collaboration.

During their visit, the guests toured around BNUZ and were impressed by the campus environment.

Introduction to Chinese Culture University (CCU):

Chinese Culture University, a private university located in Shilin District, Taibei City, owns the largest collections among universities in Taiwan; especially in law, business, journalism and mass communications, social sciences, arts, sports and foreign languages. Currently, there are twelve colleges including College of Liberal Arts, College of Foreign Languages, College of Law, College of Social Sciences, College of Journalism and Mass Communications and College of Arts.
