On June 8th, Guangdong Division of 2013 PRD IT Project Competition for College Students, which organized by Computer Academy of Guangdong and hosted by the School of Computer Science in Guangzhou University, was held in the library of Guangzhou University. Director of Computer Academy of Guangdong Chen Zhongju, deputy director Chen Hongbo, deputy party secretary and secretary of disciplinary committee of Guangzhou University Zhang Qiang, dean of the School of Computer Science Xie Dongqing, and leaders and specialists from other universities participated in the game.

During the two days’ competition, 30 projects from16 universities, including South China Agricultural University, South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Jinan University, Guangdong University of Technology and BNUZ, were selected in the final competition. In the morning of June 8th, 4 students won the 1st prize, 8 students won the 2nd prizes, 18 were awarded the 3rd prize, and awards of Best Innovation and Best Practical Value were generated.

BNUZ student Ma Tianyou from the School of Information and Technology who designed the project about website and three-dimensional scene successfully won the 2nd prize.

Currently, student Ma Tianyou is formally employed by Kingsoft with distinctive academic backgrounds.
