On July 14th, invited by the School of Engineering Technology and School of Foreign Languages, a U.S. delegation of five visited BNUZ for academic and cultural exchanges for one week.

The delegation came from an international volunteer organization based in Memphis, Tennessee, which is engaged in various fields, including finance, biotechnology and medicine. During their stay in BNUZ, they delivered seven lectures on various topics for Chinese students, revealing the essence of American culture in a witty and humorous fashion. The students expressed their heartfelt thanks for this rare opportunity which brought them so close to American culture.
Apart from lectures, activities with Chinese characteristics were organized by BNUZ students. The U.S. delegation not only enjoyed the traditional Chinese calligraphy and Guzheng performance, but also participated in fun activities including dumpling and Kung Fu tea making.
Through these activities, students communicated with the delegation actively, and introduced traditional Chinese culture to them. Time flied yet deep friendship was developed. The delegation left with carefully-prepared gifts from the Chinese students as well as their best wishes
