From April 14^th to 18^th, the 28^th Film Festival of International Association of Film and Television School (CILECT) was held in Toulouse Audiovisual School in France. Dr. Shi Xin and the student Chen Yaxin from the department of Movie & TV Director were invited to attend the festival.

The selected screening films lasted for 90 minutes, among which Dr. Shi Xin’s work were included: a documentary filem named Shanghai & Nostalgia, an animation movie named Lily’s Spring. Also some students’ short work were also included: Baby by Chen Yaxin, Filming by Zhu Haiyi, Searching by Yang Yang, and Magic & Pain by Chen Huanjie.

At the opening ceremony of the festival, Dr. Shi Xin introduced the teaching methods of film making. She also communicated with other teachers and students from different countries and learned about the characteristics and advantages of the similar schools all around the world. Through exchanging ideas, the Department of Movie & TV of BNUZ School of Art and Communication had discussed opportunities of collaborative education with other international film and television schools.
