The 2014 MCM/ ICM (The Mathematical Contest in Modeling/The Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling) for Sino-U.S. students was held successfully recently. There are altogether 26 teams from BNUZ participated in the contests after selection and the teams are consisted of 78 students from the School of Applied Mathematics, International Business Faculty, School of Engineering Technology, School of Information Technology, and School of Management.

Thanks to the supervision and organization of Prof. Liu Weifang and School of Applied Mathematics, the 26 teams have submitted their papers successfully and won two awards of Meritorious Winner, ten awards of Honorable Mention, and 14 awards of Successful Participant. It is such a historical breakthrough in our participation in 2014 MCM/ICM.
