Yesterday, the 7th Teaching Seminar of Chinese Writing in Four Regions Cross-strait in China and Singapore was held at BNUZ. Experts presented the seminar shared and exchanged ideas on the latest study and research findings about the teaching of Chinese Writing course with a series of excellent class-demo.
Through the course demo, on-spot comments by specialists and special report, the seminar presented the excellent result of Chinese education.
Yesterday morning began with lectures given by Mr. Hong Ruichun, from Singapore’s Ministry of Education, Mr. Kong Weiqin, from Saint Johnson University in Taiwan, and Mr. Guo Hai, Deputy Dean of BNUZ School of Chinese respectively. Followed is the class demo presented by 9 teachers from HK, Macau, Taiwan, China’s Mainland and Singapore. The teaching content covers Chinese writing, reading and classical Chinese writing and the target students range from primary school to junior high and high school.
Prof. Zhang Mingyuan, Dean of BNUZ School of Chinese cited such event as a feast featuring exchanges on Chinese teaching. Through sharing the experiences and findings in the educational reform, it shows charisma of teachers from different regions, promotes the advanced teaching idea, methodology and notions, and pushes the progress of the educational reform of Chinese course in Guangdong province.
