Students from School of Information Technology Won the First Prize in the 7th National 3D Digital Design Competition

On December 7th, the Seventh National Innovative 3D Digital Design Competition was concluded in Changzhou. The REVOLUTION TEAM of School of Information Technology, BNUZ, led by BNUZ’s teacher Huang Xiaomu, was awarded the Special Prize in the Digital Representation Design (the New Media Art) by its game, PARKOUR TALENT, which is based on a body feeling treadmill game called Kinect. Team members of the REVOLUTION TEAM include Zhang Zhiwen, Qiu Zeyu, He Shuhao, Li Hadi and so on, and the instructors are Huang Jing and Dr. Lang Bo.

The National 3D Digital Design Competition, which is short for 3DDS, serves as a talent pool of 3D technology and potential programs. This competition has been held for seven straight years, receiving increasing attention from all sectors of the society. There are more than 600 universities and more than 1000 enterprises participated every year, engaging more than 1 million people participated in the competition. It has now become one of the competitions of the largest scale, the highest level and the most profound influence. It has feature a platform for all kinds of talents to realize their dreams while developing high-tech and innovative enterprise clusters.
