Sun Yat-sen's former residence memorial is a memorial museum which Sun yat-sen's former residence is the main body. The main building is a two-layer building. It’s a combination of Chinese and western architecture, which modelled on the western architectural design. Many Lingnan-styled furniture and decoration are placed inside and outside of it. Students from Canada walked among them and couldn't help admiring everything around. Their Chinese language partners answered their questions patiently. In the Sun Yat-sen memorial hall, the students gained a better understanding of Sun Yat-sen’s life through pictures and videos. At last, Canadian students took a group photo in front of Jingshi Zhong and Zhongshan Ding.

Based on the investigation to the Sun Yat-sen's former residence memorial, Canadian students had a deep understanding of Sun Yat-sen’s influence in the development of Chinese modern history; They also had an intuitive understanding of southern China traditional folk culture throughout the exploration of Cuiheng Village. Students believed that the trip today would help a lot on their Chinese Course in the next a few days.
