In the morning of June 25^th, BNUZ Commencement Ceremony for Graduates of 2015 was held successfully at BNUZ International Center. President Prof. Qingyun Tu, Secretary of BNUZ Party Committee Prof. Wei Tang, Vice President Prof. Ailan Fu, Vice President Prof. Bofei Yan, Vice President Zhongkui Wu, school deans, teaching faculty, alumni representatives, and graduate representatives attended the ceremony. Some graduates’ parents and media were invited as well. The ceremony was chaired by Deputy Secretary of BNUZ Party Committee Dr. Wei Dai.

First of all, Prof. Tu, on behalf of BNUZ, delivered remarks at the commencement. He expressed his sincere congratulations to the class of 2015 and his gratification about the results and growth that students have achieved in the past four years. He believed that graduates should have learned how to study, how to behave, how to pursue ideals, how to appreciate and give out, how to be thankful and pay back and how to face challenge while at BNUZ. Upon the season of farewell, Prof. Tu proposed three hopes to graduates of 2015: first, he hoped that students could maintain a learning heart and remember that one is never too old to learn; second, he hoped that students could establish a sense of responsibility to themselves, to their family and to the society; last he hoped that students could have a gratitude heart, and contribute to the country and society with their knowledge and skills. Finally, Prof. Tu concluded that BNUZ is and will always be their bay in their life journey and he welcomed students to come home often.

Dr. Wei Lv, teachers representative, also gave his hope to graduates of 2015. Dr. Lv wished all the best and a good future to all graduates. Also he reminded students not to forget the motto of “of studies, be the master; of behavior, be the model”.

Followed is the speech give by Ms. Wanling Lu, graduates representative of 2015. She reviewed the time at BNUZ in the past four years and expressed her reluctance to be part with friends, classmates, and teachers. She said looking back at the past four years, university life is like a micro play about all the possibilities at the age of 20.

Ms. Jingxuan Cai, parents representative, shared her joy and gratitude as a parent. She also expressed her best wishes to all graduates. First, she asked all graduates not to forget their alma mater; second, not to forget their teachers; third, never to stop learning and fighting.

Mr. Jingle Zhou, alumni representative, gave a speech next. He said that BNUZ is love of his life and no other places on earth could compare with it. He had so many great memories at BNUZ. He said to all the graduates of 2015 that “a wonderful university produced a wonderful “us”, so what we can do to pay it back is to make us more wonderful.”

At the ceremony, Prof. Wei Tang, read the decision to honor Excellent Graduates. Prof. Tu turned the tassel for the excellent graduates and prof. Tang conferred the honor certificates to them. Then over 300 graduates from altogether 14 schools had the tassel-turning ceremony and were conferred with degree certificates.

Finally, the Commencement Ceremony of 2015 was completed successfully in the chorus of school song.

According to resources, 5590 students graduated from BNUZ successfully in 2015, including 9 students from HK, Maucau and Taiwan.
