BNUZ Students Went on a Study Trip in Shenzhen

In 5th June, organized by Youth League Committee, fifty students from BNUZ went on a study trip to Shenzhen museum and Tencent company.

In Shenzhen museum, Students visited four exhibition halls which were “ancient Shenzhen”, “modern Shenzhen”, “Shenzhen traditions”, and “the reform and opening up of Shenzhen”. Through this trip, students gained the knowledge about the history of Shenzhen's development, especially in the past three decades while Shenzhen, from a small fishing village, developed dramatically into an international metropolis. This great historical achievement gave students a sense of national pride and a sense of responsibility.

In Shenzen’s headquarter of Tencent, the personnel of the company gave students an introduction of the basic information of the Tencent company and also some information of its main products including QQ, WeChat and some artificial-intelligent products. The exhibition gave students the idea of a possible blueprint of high-tech future. During visiting, Students experienced a harmonious office environment and relaxing working atmosphere, at the same time, they were impressed by the high sense of social responsibility and the efforts Tencent put on public charitable activities. The tour rose a discussion among students. Most expressed that the visit gave them a more direct understanding on business management, and also a more complete knowledge of the company’s culture.
