Prof. Fu Ailan

Prof. Fu Ailan currently holds the position of Vice President of BNUZ. She is also a professor in BNU School of Chinese Language and Literature and a doctoral supervisor in linguistics and applied linguistics. She was borin in Liling, Hunan province in 1964 and completed her bachelor study in Chinese at BNU in 1984, and then obtained her master and doctorate degrees in Minzu University of China. She was awarded the title of associate professor in 1993 and became professor in 1999. Prof. Fu had visited the University of Texas as a visiting scholar from 1993 to 1994; and from 2002 to 2003, she has been a visiting professor at Hong Kong Baptist University.
From April, 2003 to January, 2004, Prof. Fu was the Provost of BNUZ. Currrently, Prof. Fu is the Vice President of BNUZ, in charge of strategic and international engagement and development of BNUZ.
