The President of Nazareth College Visited BNUZ

On May 17, Dr. Daan Braveman, President of Nazareth College, Dr.Nevan Fisher, Assistant Vice President for Global Program and Dr. Samuel H. Song, Director of English Language Institute and Director of Office of Asia Pacific Rim Initiatives visited BNUZ, warmly welcomed by Prof. Qingyu Tu, President of BNUZ, in the International Center. Prof. Wenhao Tao, Dean of School of Foreign Languages, Vice Prof. Hongyou Sun, Director of the Common Law Study Center of the School of Law and Administration and relative officials of the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Prof. Qingyu Tu expressed his fervent welcome to the representatives of NC and briefly introduced the basic situation of BNUZ and its international development and cooperation. Mr. Daan Braveman, the president of NC, expressed his appreciation, and identified towards BNUZ's international development strategies. It was followed by profound discussions about the 2+2 program, 3+2 program and the summer program.

During the visit, the representatives of NC also looked around our campus. They gave a high praise of BNUZ for its impressive human landscape and natural environment.

As an American private university which was established in 1924, Nazareth College is located on the northwest of Rochester, New York State, near the north to the Lack Ontario. NC has four schools including College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Health and Human Services and the School of Management. Besides, Musical Art as a dominant discipline, the Biochemistry, Biomedicine, Financial Accounting, International Trade, Infant Education, Special Education, TESOL, Market Management, and Talent Management are also very excellent. The student-staff ratio of NC is 1:10. NC ranked number 29 in the Best University in The North of America reported by U.S News & World Report.
