Young Talents from Home and Abroad Contribute to Zhuhai City Development

The 3rd International Youth Leadership Program (IYLP), hosted by BNU and BNUZ, was successfully opened yesterday and this year welcomed the participation of the University of Oxford and the University of Birmingham.

The slogan of IYLP this year is “sharing enhancing cross-cultural understanding, research promoting wise decision-making”. In this 15-day program, students from both home and abroad will complete several projects together, among which the topic of the city development will revolves around the ecological development of Zhuhai city. The person in charge of the program told the reporter that IYLP this year consists of 3 phases, namely knowledge forum, skills cultivation, conclusion & presentation. In the skills-cultivation section, students will be divided into several groups, attracting more city resources, investigating and extending more activities thus working out a mature project plan so as to contribute to Zhuhai’s city development.

IYLP this year recruited 58 students, including 17 students from the University of Oxford, the University of Birmingham and the University of Harvard, 25 from BNUZ and 14 from BNU.
