The Fourth Taiwan Summer Camp Successfully Ended

On the afternoon of 22nd July, the second group of Taiwan Summer Camp had been back to BNUZ. Thus, the fourth Taiwan Summer Camp had successfully ended.


This year, BNUZ sent two groups attending the one-week Taiwan summer camp, cooperated with Taiwan National Central University, in order to foster BNUZ students’abilities in international communication and multi-cultural adaptation.

The first group composed by 14 students from the Faculty of International Business, arrived in Taiwan on 2nd July, taking ERP course, Enterprise Resources Planning and Decision Simulation. The second group composed by 29 students from School of Chinese, School of Franchise Management, School of Arts and Communication, School of Information and Technology, School of Engineering Technology, School of Management, School of Foreign Languages and Faculty of International Business, arrived in Taiwan on 16th July, taking courses on the Development and Constitution of Taiwan History and Creativity on Business Operation and Decision.

Prof. ZHENG Hantan from the School of Management, NCU, taught the course of Enterprise Resources Planning and Decision Simulation. He started from character and the Book of Changes, helped students to better understand running, strategy planning and decision making of a company. He divided the 14 students into 7 groups, and held a competition on company decision simulation, which was good for team-working spirit and better understanding of how to correctly allocate tasks and make decision, with the aim of gaining best benefits.


Prof. WU Xuemimg and ZHENG Zhengcheng from the School of Chinese, NCU, taught the course of the Development and Constitution of Taiwan History. Their humanity helped students better understand Taiwan. Prof. ZHANG Dongsheng, from the School of Management, NCU, taught the course of Business Operation and Decision. He used innovative methods, started with his own experience, guiding students to ponder how to clearly define in commercial community, while steadily improve and innovate.


Besides tense study, BNUZ students talked and discussed with NCU students, and travel around Taiwan, gaining ideas about its history and custom.


Both groups said that they learnt a lot from this summer camp, not only knowledge, but also Taiwan.
