At 11 a.m., Dec. 16th, the Unveiling Ceremony for Jinghua Garden Study Community and Teaching Observation on Independent Study Class held in Building 1, Jinghua Garden. Guests from Beijing Normal University include Ms. Chuansheng Liu, party secretary, Mr. Binglin Zhong, president of Beijing Normal University, Mr. Qingyun Tu, head of Office of Teaching Affairs, Mr. Chi Zhang, vice dean of Graduate School. Mr. Zhongkui Wu, vice president of BNUZ, Mr. Wei Dai, vice party secretary of BNUZ, Mr. Zhiqiang Zhou, head of Academic Division, BNUZ etc.
This unveiling ceremony shows that after over one-month testing, the Jinghua Garden Study Community, which occupies over 3,000 square meters, has been put into practice. It also marks talent development of BNUZ, which based on impendent choice, has been into a new stage and get boarder development space. Mr. Wei Dai, vice party secretary of BNUZ, gave a brief introduction about the development of Study Community. He pointed out that the establishment of Study Community is in accordance with BNUZ’s talent cultivation innovative strategy. It facilitates educational reform and satisfies the need for BNUZ students to improve themselves and to practice independent study. Culture construction and quality-oriented courses, which rely on those study communities, not only become a splendid highlight of BNUZ culture construction, but also become an important supporting force for the spiritual civilization construction and ideological education in BNUZ.
Mr. Zhongkui Wu, vice president of BNUZ, said study community is a new stage for BNUZ to implement educational reform and for BNUZ students to practice independent development. This year, BNUZ’s Study Community Culture Construction Based on Talent Cultivation has got 1st prize in Guangdong Campus Culture Construction Excellent Achievement Election. Such result proves that Study Community is a foundation for BNUZ to build a study-oriented and international student community and a significant base for BNUZ to realize personalize talent development.
After the unveiling ceremony, guests presented observed the Independent Study Class together.
