Delegation from Keuka College Visited BNUZ

On the morning of April 5th, 2012, Prof. Michael Huang, administrative chancellor for Keuka College China campuses, and the delegation visited BNUZ. Prof. Ailan Fu, vice president of BNUZ, Prof. Yiping Li, dean of International Business Faculty, Prof. Tony Zhang, assistant to dean of IBF and Dr. Pansy Gan, Director of Office of International Affairs met with the visitors at the conference room of the International Center.

On behalf of BNUZ, Prof. Fu extended her warm greetings to the delegation, and gave a brief introduction of BNUZ. Afterwards, Prof. Michael Huang introduced Keuka College’s cooperation with 4 Chinese universities regarding Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools and the information of Keuka College China campuses. Then both sides exchanged opinions on Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools and other cooperative fields.

Introduction to Keuka College:
Keuka College, founded in 1890, locates on shores of Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, USA. As an independent, four-year liberal arts college, it offers coeducational teaching and focus on career and pre-professional education. With student-oriented and experiential education as the teaching ideal, it owns 33 bachelor’s degree majors, 7 master’s degree programs, 25 minors, double majors as well as self-designed majors. The student/faculty ratio is 14:1.

Keuka College carries out cooperation in running schools with Yunnan University of Finance & Economics (YUFE), Tianjin University of Science & Technology, Jimei University, and Wenzhou University. Those projects are proved by Office of Academic Degrees Committee for the State Council, China.
