On Oct. 19^th, Professor Lixin Tao, Dean of Computer Science, Pace University, NY, US came to visit BNUZ School of Information Technology and gave a lecture to the whole faculty of SIT in Room A310 of Liyun building.

In the lecture, he introduced the service-oriented cloud computing, some relevant computer research programs employed in PU classroom teaching, as well as the features of pedagogy. For example, PU emphasizes the practice-oriented teaching, project-based teaching and featured teaching via virtue machine.

In the future, Prof. Tao hopes sincerely to strengthen the cooperation with SIT on teaching and researching. Then both sides discussed about the potential cooperative program like 3+1+0.5 program and 2+2 program.
