On Nov. 27th, Prof. Cillian Ryan, Vice President of De Montfort University came to visit BNUZ. Prof. Qingyun Tu, President of BNUZ, Prof. Songbai Liu, Dean of BNUZ International Business Faculty, Prof. Yafei Xu, Dean of School of Design, Prof. Yuhua Ni, Deputy Dean of School of Information Technology, and Dr. Pansy Gan, Director of International Exchanges & Cooperation received the guests and held in-depth discussion at BNUZ International Center.

In the meeting, Prof. Tu first expressed warm welcome for Prof. Ryan and then reviewed the cooperation between DMU and BNUZ in the past decade. Prof. Ryan expressed his thanks for the hospitality and said that this visiting aims to making a comprehensive summary of two universities’ cooperation in the past decades. Then he sincerely hoped to have more cooperation in a broader area between both sides. Dr. Pansy Gan, Director of BNUZ Office of International Exchanges and Cooperation introduced the current situation of international programs. Representatives from International Business Faculty, School of Design, School of Information Technology have respectively carried on the brief introduction of their schools and faculty. Last The two universities made a heated discussion about the existing cooperation and further potential cooperation.

BNUZ started its cooperation with DMU in 2002. Until now, the cooperative programs include 2+2 program in Finance, 3+1 program in Finance, 3+2 program in Finance and 3+1 program in Information Technology. In the past five years, 145 students in total have been studying in the DMU via these programs.
