San Francisco State University Visited BNUZ

In the morning of Dec. 11th, Prof. Yenbo Wu, Associate Vice President of San Francisco State University visited BNUZ. President Prof. Qingyun Tu and Vice President Prof. Ailan Fu received him at BNUZ International Center. Prof. Wenhao Tao, Dean of BNUZ School of Foreign Languages, and Dr. Pansy Gan, Director of Office of International Exchanges and Cooperation attended the meeting.

In the meeting, both sides had an in-depth discussion about the 3+2 program in English-related majors, summer program, exchange student program and visiting program and reached consensus to start the cooperative relation via visiting program between BNUZ and SFSU so as to provide an excellent platform for students and faculty to have international exchanges and communication.

In his visit, Prof. Wu also gave a lecture with a title of “The Special Features of US Higher Education System and Its Trends and Challenges”. In the lecture, Prof. Wu explained the history, structure and governance features of the institution of higher education in US, which students enjoyed and learned a lot. Many students participated in the Q&A section.
