In July and August, the third edition of China-UK and China-France University Sports Weeks were hosted in Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai respectively.

Starting from July 23, the China-UK University Sports Week consisted of a series of friendly games between Chinese universities and UK universities. London South Bank University’s men’s rugby team and Swansea University’s women’s rugby team attended five friendly games with local teams from China, aiming to deepen the collaboration between British and Chinese universities through sports.

The opening ceremony of the third China-France University Sports Week was launched on August, 9, attended by authorities from Federation of University Sport of China (FUSC),French University Sport Federation (FFSU) and Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges MOE, together with local senior officials, faculty, staff and students. This China-France University Sports Week will include friendly football games between Chinese and French university football teams, together with a series of cultural exchange and student networking events.
