Ⅰ. Who Can Apply:
Foreign experts need to apply to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate for a Z visa (visa for working) with a Foreign Expert Working Permit for employment purposes.
The requirements are:
A. The employer should have the Certificate of Administrative Licenses for Hiring Foreign Experts authorized by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, the P. R. of China;
B. Applicants have to conform with the laws and regulations of China, be in good health, and without criminal record;
C. The employer has an instant need for Foreign Experts;
D. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (or above) and 5 years’ relevant working experience. (Language teachers should have at least 2 years’ relevant working experience or an internationally recognised teaching license. Language teachers should be a native speaker.).

Ⅱ. How to Apply: Apply through the employer. Applicants are required to submit documents personally if necessary.

III. Documents Required (one copy with the original):
1. Application letter with an official seal; or
2. Completed Foreign Expert Working Permit Application Form, download from: http://guangdong.caiep.org or www.ipszh.com (Application letter is not needed if submitting application form with an official seal.);
3. Passport;
4. Resume of applicants in Chinese and foreign language (including educational background and working experience);
5. Bechelor’s degree or above, and certificate if any (with Chinese translation);
6. Health Certificate issued by Entry-Exit Insepection and Quarantine Bureau, the People’s Republic of China;
7. Employment contract, and appendix if any (Chinese and English versions), download from: http://guangdong.caiep.org or www.ipszh.com;
8. Evidence of insurance (type A and type B) covering the whole period of employment;
Type A: Medical care insurance covering illness and hospitalization;
Type B: Unforeseen accidents insurance covering illness, hospitalization and accident death;
Employer and employee can make agreement on buying and payment for insurance. If the applicant has bought international asurance which can cover their working in China; they need to submit insurance card, payment invoice and insurance terms with Chinese translation.
9. Accompany family members should submit:
A. Passport;
B. Relationship Certificate;
C. Health Certificate of spouse;
D. Birth Certificate of children (under 18 years old, or cannot apply accompany visa).
